Why sales might be as unpredictable as this week’s weather
You know what’s been mad this past week?
The weather.
One minute it’s too hot to move. I had a glass literally shatter in my kitchen from the heat — and in one of our shops, the fridge just gave up completely.
And then — boom — torrential rain and soggy shoes.
It’s like the UK weather’s having a full identity crisis.
But here’s the thing… the problem isn’t that it’s extreme — it’s that we’re never prepared for it.
Because we can’t plan around something that’s so unpredictable.
And isn’t that exactly what business can feel like sometimes?
One minute, you’ve got sales flying in and your systems are bursting at the seams — no prep, no process, and you’re barely keeping up.
So you start making changes, trying to catch up…
And just like that — silence.
No sales. No momentum. No clue what happened.
It’s exhausting.
But imagine if you could plan for it.
If your sales were steady. Predictable.
If your business had a system that brought in customers consistently — week after week — regardless of what was happening around you.
Like having your own weather forecast… but for income.
Business would feel less chaotic.
You’d make better decisions.
And you’d finally be able to enjoy the good days — without stressing about when the storm is coming.
Anyway, I’d love to hear from you —
What do you have in place right now to keep your customer flow consistent?
Just hit reply and let me know — I always read every message.
Here’s to staying dry (and sane) this weekend,
