Why doing “all the right things” isn’t always enough

One of the many things I love about being an Entrepreneurs Circle Licensed Coach (alongside the incredible female business owners I get to work with!) is the community of other licensed coaches.

It’s such a powerful network. We share our own journeys, successes and challenges — but also bounce ideas around for our clients. Often, someone else has faced the exact same situation with one of their clients or has experience in the same niche.

As the saying goes:
👉 “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

And it’s so true.

At one of our recent meet-ups, a fellow coach shared a story about a new client. Right from the start, the client was saying things like:
💬 “We don’t need to look at my numbers — I’ve already done them.”
💬 “I’m doing all the right things on social media — I’m posting and reaching out.”

On the surface, it sounded like he was already ticking all the boxes.
So how could the coach help him get more clients?

The big questions were:
👉 Had he actually been tracking the right numbers?
👉 And was he sure he was talking to the right people on social media?

Because the devil is always in the detail.

You can do all the things — but if you’re not putting the right actions in the right places, you won’t get the right outcome.

And that’s when you risk becoming a “busy fool” — working harder and harder, but not seeing results.

That’s why my Group Coaching Programme focuses not on being busier, but on being more effective.

You’ll learn how to track the right numbers, how to focus on the right activities, and how to build a business that isn’t just busy, but profitable and sustainable.

The next programme starts in October.
