The secret behind a seamless business (and what most owners miss)

I’m currently enjoying some well-earned downtime for the October week — but before I headed away, we had a hectic weekend that finished off with a lovely evening at the theatre to see Shrek the Musical at the King’s Theatre.

Their run has now finished, but it really was a brilliant show — with Lord Farquaad stealing the spotlight as my favourite character!

What really struck me, though, was how amazing it is that from the moment the lights go down, the entire cast knows exactly what’s going to happen.

Every line, every step, every song, every dance — perfectly timed and executed.

For two hours straight, everything runs seamlessly.

And it got me thinking…

How many of us can honestly say the same about our businesses?

Do you know exactly what happens when a new client comes onboard or a new enquiry lands in your inbox?
Do you have every stage of your customer journey mapped out — so that your clients have a smooth, consistent experience every single time?

If not, it’s something worth looking at.

Because just like a great stage production, when everyone knows their cues and the process is mapped from start to finish, that’s when you create something truly impressive — and repeatable.

And the best part? When you’ve built those systems, you can take time off (like I am this week!) knowing the show can still go on without you. 🎭
