The biggest thing holding women back (and how I’m tackling it head-on)

Yesterday, I had the privilege of being invited down to Entrepreneurs Circle HQ in Birmingham for a full mindset training day run in conjunction with Christian Simpson.
And honestly… it blew my mind.
There were so many aha moments I could probably write newsletters about it for the whole of next year!
If you know me at all, you’ll know how much I love mindset work. I’m a huge advocate for it — and I’ve seen firsthand how transformational it can be.
My own family has lived this…
No more so than when my son was told he would never walk again.
But his positive mindset — his absolute determination — became the greatest tool he had in his recovery. And now? He can walk.
That experience changed everything I believed about the power of the mind.
So I’ve taken a big step…
I’ve signed up to work with Christian over the next 12 months.
Not just for my own growth, but because I want to bring these learnings back to the incredible women I work with — because mindset truly is the biggest thing I see holding women back.
They have amazing businesses.
They are amazing women.
And what amazes me most?
They don’t see what I see.
They don’t see the potential, the strengths, the abilities that are so obvious to everyone else.
I can’t wait to get stuck in, learn more, and help more women unlock the parts of themselves they’ve kept hidden for far too long.
One of the many quotes Christian shared yesterday was this:
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life — and you will call it fate.”
That one hit me right between the eyes.
As we head into a new year soon, it’s worth asking yourself:
👉 What unconscious beliefs are directing your decisions?
👉 What patterns are shaping your business without you realising?
👉 What mindset are you taking with you into 2026 — and what mindset do you want to leave behind?
Let that sit with you.
Have a great week!
Speak soon,
Cherie
