Revenue Is Vanity. Margin Is Sanity.

It’s been a full few months.

Taking sole ownership of our retail businesses (over £3m turnover and 20 staff) has been a big shift — and a revealing one.

Within the first few weeks, one thing became very clear:

Activity was high.
Discipline was inconsistent.

And there’s a difference.

We’ve been installing scorecards.
Tightening margin by small but meaningful percentages.
Resetting staffing standards.
Rebuilding cash buffer.

None of it is glamorous.
All of it is necessary.

And if I’m honest, it’s reinforced something I’ve seen repeatedly over the last 18 months inside Glasgow Women’s Business Growth.

So many capable women are exhausted.

Full diary.
Constant notifications.
Always “on”.

But when we actually look at the numbers?

The profit doesn’t reflect the effort.

Growth without structure amplifies weakness.
Revenue without margin creates stress.
Busy without governance creates chaos.

If your diary is full but your bank account feels tight, you don’t need more leads.

You need standards.

You need organised effort.

You need to know your numbers well enough that decisions feel calm — not emotional.

That’s the difference between running a business and leading one.

For the next 6months, I’ve made a strategic decision.

I won’t be running another group coaching cohort until Autumn 2026.

Not because group coaching doesn’t work — it absolutely does.

But right now my focus is depth.

Strengthening the retail operation properly.
And working closely with a very small number of established business owners at a higher level.

I am opening two private Strategic Partnership spaces.

This is for female business owners who are already generating revenue and want:

• Clear margin visibility
• Stronger cash reserves
• Higher pricing confidence
• Operational discipline
• CEO-level accountability

We will meet via Zoom weekly.

The investment is £1,000 per month.

This includes full Entrepreneurs Circle membership and access to my Exclusive Collective — a private room of growth-focused business owners building properly structured businesses.

This isn’t entry-level coaching.

It’s structured, numbers-led, strategic partnership.

If you’re established and ready to operate at that level, reply with:

Have a great week.

Cherie
