Mindset Mastery – Straight from the Source
This week, I had the privilege of attending a virtual event hosted by Nigel Botterill and Christian Simpson all about Mindset Mastery. Now let me tell you—Nigel doesn’t just throw events like this around. In fact, he’s never done anything quite like this in the history of Entrepreneur Circle. And it was deep. We’re talking "soul-searching, stop-what-you’re-doing-and-think" kind of deep.
A few quotes that have stayed with me, and I want to share them with you because they speak right to the heart of where so many women business owners are stuck:
“You are an exception to the rule.” (only a very small portion of people run their own business and even less do it well)
“You know there is more to you than where you are right now.” (sometimes its this very thought that keeps us going)
“We hear with our ears and listen with our emotions.”
And one that especially hit me: “Ignorance is bliss, but it is the most expensive game in life.”
Whew. That one.
Because here’s the thing—so many of the women I work with know something isn’t quite right in their business. But facing the truth of what’s not working (the finances, the lack of systems, the chaos behind the scenes) can be overwhelming. It’s easier to bury your head in busywork than lift your head up and admit, this isn’t working the way I want it to.
But if you’re going to grow, you’ve got to get clear on what needs to change. And you don’t have to do it alone. (That’s what I’m here for.)
If this sounds like something you could be listening to right now and want to watch the recording then just click the button below and I will send you the details.
Easter Break – Did You Survive or Thrive?
Now let’s talk real life.
The Easter holidays are nearing the end. So… how did you manage? Did you get some well-earned time off? Were you juggling work, kids, clients, and trying to remember if it was a bank holiday or not?
For me, I did take time off—and even added a few bonus days onto our break. Why? Because I can. I’ve got systems and support in place. But I also had to flex my schedule to be there for our youngest son. And let me tell you, trying to keep one child entertained is somehow harder than when our older four were all running around together keeping each other occupied!
So, how about you?
👉 Did you manage to rest, or was it chaos?
👉 Did you feel like you owned your business—or did it own you?
If it was a blur, let me challenge you: what could you put in place now to make life easier between now and the summer holidays? Could you start building those systems, delegating, putting in boundaries, or simply blocking off the time in your diary to focus on your business?
I’d love to hear how your Easter went—reply and let me know. I read every response.
Final Thought:
Running a business should be something you lead, not something you survive. You started this for freedom. Let’s get you back there.
To clarity, courage and cracking on,
Cherie
