Is anyone actually trusting you right now?
When trust is low… selling gets hard.
I’ve spoken to so many brilliant women business owners and fellow coaches lately — and a theme keeps coming up again and again.
Lack of trust.
Not from you — but from your customers.
They’ve been burned. They’ve bought products that didn’t do what they promised (if they even arrived!). They’ve signed up for courses that gave nothing but fluff. And now?
They’re cautious.
Sceptical.
And completely overwhelmed with choice.
And it’s no wonder…
With hundreds of Instagram ads, sales emails and AI-generated “guru” content flying at them every day, people are tired of being sold to — and terrified of being ripped off.
Which means earning their trust is harder than ever.
But not impossible.
You can break through the noise.
You can make them feel safe.
You can build real, lasting credibility.
Here’s how:
✅ Testimonials — real ones, with names and faces. Bonus points if they’re video.
✅ Examples — show your work. Before and afters. Case studies. Screenshots.
✅ Photos — of you, your workspace, your team, your process. Be a real human.
✅ Reviews — not just testimonials you wrote yourself, but independent, verified reviews.
✅ Proof of process — show that there’s structure, not just promises.
✅ Follow-up — prompt, warm, consistent communication builds belief.
✅ Rhythm — don’t appear, pitch, then disappear. Show up regularly, even when you’re not selling.
It all comes back to one of the core beliefs I teach
Marketing is not optional. It’s oxygen.
And consistency beats chaos every single time.
So if you’ve felt a shift lately — if leads are harder to convert, or customers are slower to trust — ask yourself:
👉 What am I doing to actively build trust in my business every single week?
👉 Where am I hiding when I should be showing up?
👉 How am I proving that I’m the real deal — not just another promise?
Because people are still spending money.
They’re just being much more careful about where they spend it.
So show them who you are.
Prove you’re worth it.
Be consistent, be clear, and be human.
Do something this week to actively build trust with your audience.
