If you weren’t excited to get back to work yesterday... read this.

Yesterday marked my first day back at my desk after taking the October week off — and do you know what?
I absolutely couldn’t wait to get back.
Not because I didn’t enjoy my time off — far from it! I had a wonderful week offline with my family, and I had a lovely time celebrating my birthday on Friday too. 🥳
But I couldn’t wait to get back because I genuinely love what I do. A little time away always leaves me refreshed, recharged, and buzzing with new ideas.
So here’s my question to you:
👉 Did you manage to take some time off recently?
👉 And if you did, were you excited to get back to your business?
If the answer is no to either of those questions, I want to gently encourage you to take a little time to reconnect with why you started your business in the first place.
Do you still enjoy what you do?
If not — what’s draining your energy?
And what are the parts you still love that keep you going?
Because here’s the thing — if you don’t intentionally design the business you want, the business ends up designing a life for you.
And that life can often look like a never-ending cycle of being stuck in the day-to-day weeds of the business, instead of building something that gives you freedom and fulfilment.
So take a little time this week to reflect:
💭 Why did you start your business?
💭 What would you love it to give you now?
💭 And what’s one small change that would make it feel exciting again?
I’d genuinely love to know your answer — hit reply and tell me why you started your business.
And if you’re feeling stuck, drained, or unsure how to make your business work for you, just pop me a message — my inbox is always open.
Have a great week,
Speak soon,
Cherie
