If everything feels a bit heavy right now, read this

How is everyone doing?
It feels like everywhere you turn right now there’s more doom and gloom.
The ongoing situation in the Middle East…
The constant news cycle…
The very real rise in costs
And then last week, the increase in National Minimum Wage.
All of it adds up.
Even though some of these things are happening far away, the impact is being felt right here — in our businesses, in our homes, and in our heads.
And as business owners, we carry a lot.
Responsibility for ourselves.
Responsibility for our families.
Responsibility for our staff.
And if we’re honest… as women, we often carry even more than our fair share.
It can feel heavy.
But here’s the important part.
We have to be very careful about what we let into our minds.
Because while it’s important to stay informed, constantly consuming negative news and uncertainty will only leave you feeling overwhelmed — and that’s not a helpful place to run a business from.
Things are hard, yes.
But we’ve all faced hard times before.
And here’s something worth remembering:
👉 More millionaires are made during times of adversity than at any other time.
Because while some people pull back…
Others step forward.
I know which side I’m choosing.
I am actively growing my business.
I am not being put off by events I cannot control.
Instead, I’m focusing on what I can control:
Tracking my numbers relentlessly
Watching cash flow closely
Making decisions based on facts, not fear
Strengthening my team and systems
And because of that — I feel confident going forward.
This is not the time to “see how things go.”
This is not the time to wing it.
This is the time to lead properly.
If you’re in a place where your business is already doing okay — but you know it could be stronger, more structured, more controlled — then this is exactly the time to get support.
I’m working with a small number of established business owners who want to:
• Get full clarity on their numbers
• Strengthen cash flow and profit
• Install proper systems and accountability
• Make calm, confident decisions — even in uncertain times
If that’s you, reply with:
CONTROL
…and tell me a little about your business.
No matter what’s happening around us — remember this:
You don’t need to control everything.
You just need to control the right things.
Have a great week,
