Burnt out... but ready to walk away?

Unusually for me, I’ve been out and about a fair bit this week, mixing with lots of fellow business owners.
And do you know what struck me?
Quite a few of the conversations I had ended up circling back to the same theme:
👉 Burnout.
They told me they were feeling exhausted, unwell, unable to stop. Some were almost manic as they described the sheer stress of it all.
What’s heartbreaking is that these weren’t failing businesses.
Each of them had built something successful, with plenty of clients and good results.
And yet… they were ready to walk away.
Because they couldn’t see how to carry on.
Because the pressure had become too much.
Because they were sacrificing their health to keep going.
Now, don’t get me wrong — health always comes first. No one should be making themselves ill to keep a business alive.
But here’s what I want you to hear today:
You can still have the business you love — but in a way that doesn’t drain you.
There is another way.
Here’s 3 quick tips to deal with overwhelm in your business:
1️⃣ Prioritise what really moves the needle.
Not every task deserves your energy. Identify the 2–3 things that actually grow your business, and do those first.
2️⃣ Build in breathing space.
Your brain can’t run at 100 miles per hour all the time. Even a 20-minute walk or a proper lunch break makes you more effective when you come back.
3️⃣ Outsource or automate the small stuff.
If it drains you and isn’t directly making money — find a way to pass it on. Even a few hours a week of help can transform how you feel.
These are small steps — but they can make a huge difference.
And if you’re nodding along thinking, “Yes, that’s me right now” — then maybe it’s time to get some proper structure and support behind you.
That’s exactly what my Group Coaching Programme is designed to do.
✨ It helps you build a business that works for you — without burning you out.
✨ It gives you the strategies and systems to grow sustainably.
✨ And it surrounds you with women who get it, so you’re not doing it all alone.
The next programme starts on 9th October, and there’s already limited availability.
If you book a call to apply before 5th September, you’ll also qualify for the early bird offer.
So if you know you don’t want to keep feeling like this, reply to this email and let’s have a chat.
