Before you sign up for anything else in 2026...

Happy New Year everyone šŸŽ‰

I hope you all had a great break, managed to rest and reset a little, and are feeling ready to make 2026 your best year yet.

I don’t know about you, but over the holidays I had to take a few days away from social media altogether. I just felt completely bombarded — courses to sign up to, events to attend, programmes promising this would finally be the thing that changed everything.

It was… overwhelming.

And I see this all the time with the women I work with.

There’s this constant feeling that we need to keep adding more strings to our bow — another qualification, another course, another training, another event. As if the reason the business isn’t quite where we want it to be is because we’re missing something.

Over the break, one of the books I read was The 5am Club by Robin Sharma, and one part really stood out. He talks about how our ancient brains — which once kept us safe from danger — still operates in a state of hypervigilance and negative bias.

In simple terms, we’re wired to focus on what’s not done, what’s missing, and what could go wrong.

Which is why so many capable, experienced women feel like they haven’t achieved enough — even though, objectively, they’ve already achieved a huge amount.

And here’s what I know to be true after working with female business owners for years:

šŸ‘‰ Most women already have enough skills
šŸ‘‰ They already have the knowledge
šŸ‘‰ They already have the experience

What they don’t always have is a clear way to turn what they already know into a well-run, profitable, sustainable business.

The answer usually isn’t more information.
It’s implementation.

Three things to reflect on as the year begins:

1ļøāƒ£ Take stock before you add anything new
List what you already know, what you’re already trained in, and what you already offer. There’s likely more value there than you realise.

2ļøāƒ£ Ask: ā€œAm I implementing… or just collecting?ā€
Courses feel productive, but implementation is what actually moves the needle.

3ļøāƒ£ Focus on building the business around your skills
Systems, structure, pricing, time management — these are what turn knowledge into income.

If you want 2026 to be the year you stop collecting information and start seeing results, my In Person Group Coaching programme begins on 20th January. It’s focused on implementation, clarity and momentum — not adding more noise. If that feels like what you need right now, reply to this email with IMPLEMENT and I’ll send you the details..

Here’s to a calmer, more intentional year ahead.
