Ambition isn’t a dirty word (and Victoria proves it)

This week has been non-stop — one Group Coaching Programme ending, another just beginning, and with the October week fast approaching, I decided it was time for a proper chilled night.

So, I sat down to watch the hotly anticipated new Netflix documentary about Victoria Beckham.

Now, I can’t say I relate to her as a performer (honestly, I couldn’t imagine anything worse! 😅), but I do completely relate to her desire for a sense of purpose and the passion she has for her business.

It reminded me just how vilified she was in the press for years — not for doing anything wrong, but for daring to be ambitious.

She was expected to just be happy being a WAG, and the moment she showed drive and determination, she was criticised for it.

But look at her now. From Spice Girl to internationally recognised fashion designer — it didn’t happen by accident. It came from resilience, self-belief, and sticking to her vision, even when others doubted her.

And while most of us don’t have a multi-millionaire husband to bail our businesses out 😉, what we can take from her story is that quiet confidence and absolute belief in ourselves and what we’re building.

Because success doesn’t come from luck — it comes from consistency, courage, and refusing to apologise for wanting more.

So this weekend, I’m taking some time to relax (finally!) as we head into the October week — but I’ll be doing so feeling re-energised, inspired, and proud of what’s being built, step by step.

Have a lovely weekend,

Speak soon,

Cherie

P.S. It’s my birthday next week 🎉 and I’ve got a special birthday offer coming your way — keep your eyes peeled for all the details! You won’t want to miss it.
